I brr at the mere thought of it

May be it is just me . I hate to travel for work .
Last week , I found my self on a 12 hour flight dreading the week ahead . And I wrote the following..
The flight announcements are included because …well because I felt it adds another dimension .
     The photo was taken one chilly morning on the way to work.

(Good evening ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking ….. 

The temperature is a balmy 2 degrees)
I brr at the mere thought of it

The sub zero temperatures

waiting for me at the other end

The chill that would pierce
my outer crust

and settle outside the

walls

Yet the memories

and your smile

would still burn deep within

my homesick stricken heart

and  keep me warm

May be

I will see the placid wonder

for the first time

(Cabin crew be seated for landing)

I will walk strong 

in the chilly winds

and catch a snowflake

in my hands

to bring back

as promised

and  may be it won’t  be

that bad 

But I come from

a different place

Where sun shines at dawn 

and I 

go home

at dusk
to the gentle smiles and tender caressing

So I’ll never get used to this

(…welcome to …., the local time is nine fifteen  p.m…)

මගේ වරදක්ද දන්නේ නෑ  , හැබැයි මට නම් ගෙදරින් පිට ඉන්නවා කියන්නේ මරනවා වගේ වැඩක්. රෑ වෙනකම් වැඩකලත්, අවසානයේ ගෙදර එන්න තියෙන්න ඕනේ  ඇවිල්ල වැටිලා නිදා ගන්න . (මම දන්නවා ගෙවල් වලින් අවුරුදු ගණන් පිට ඉන්න අය ඉන්නවා ඕනෑතරම්  ..ඔවුන්ගේ හිත් වල හිරවුණ පාළුව , තනිකම මෙරක් උසට නැගුනු ..කල් ගියාම පුරුදුත් වෙනවා .
මම කිව්වේ මං ගැන .)
 ගිය සතියේ රාජකාරී වැඩකට යන්න උනා . කාලගුණ වාර්තාවේ නම් තිබ්බේ , අංශක -1 යි කියලා . හිම පතනයක් ගැනත් අනාවැකි තිබ්බා. 

ඉතින්  ගොඩේ මට  මැජික් වගේ . මොකද මම හිම දැකලා නෑනේ. මම  පොරොන්දුවෙලා ආවේ  හිම බිඳුවක් ගෙනෙන්නම් කියලා ආපහු .

 ඉහත ලියවිල්ල ලියුවේ ගුවන් යානයේදී . එහෙම දිග ගමනක් යනකොට හිතන්න ගොඩක් වෙලා තියෙනවා . හිරවුනු සිතුවිලි අවදි වෙවී,  සිත තෙරපෙයි නතර නොවී .

කොහොම හරි දැන් ගමන අවසානයි , හිත සැහැල්ලුයි .
